English 161 Survey

 

Survey Description:  English 161 or Composition II is the second of two required English composition courses at UIC.  This course carries three hours of graduation credit and is described as a "continuation of English 160 (Composition I) with instruction in the writing of papers reporting academic research."  Sections are available on a variety of topics.  The English 161 Survey is conducted by Ann Feldman, Associate Professor of English and Director of English Composition, using a six-page questionnaire distributed in the classroom at the end of each semester.  The responses shown here are for the Spring 1999 and Fall 2000 surveys combined (N=1,529).
